Dots Dots and Big French Shapes……

Two of my favorite French labels are Vestiaire de Jeanne and Bodebo. They are both Paris based and into big shaped dresses! I love them and now the fashion turns our children again into a looser fit this is really worth seeing (or buying)!

Characteristic for Bodebo are the over-sized and colorful dots prints on the wide dresses and loose hanging trousers. Vestiaire de Jeanne limits its colors to black, white and greys with a splash of golden… and a stripe once in a while. It refers a lot to ancient times: aprons, braces, capes  etc..

If I had a girl I would certainly buy a dress of both! Unfortunately I have two boys and although Bodebo has designed some pieces for boys they are not so special as the girls pieces.

What do you think of the great cape with horse hood from VDJ?

..BodeBo at Mash'n'Gravy..
..Vestiaire de Jeanne..

VDJ is not Paris based. It’s from Nîmes.
Anyhow, I love every piece they make.

Personally, I’m crazy about the Peau d’Ane-inspired donkey cape, and the gold dress that goes with it. One of my favorite fairy tales!
