We are Going on Vacation with Emilie from Babyccino
and we are we going to…
The southern Limousin, as relatively unknown region just north of the Dordogne.
Whom are you bringing along?
My two daughters, Coco and Violette. Friends will come and go during our stay.
Where do you stay?
Our little farm house, which has been in my family for generations. ………. MORE
How do you get there?
By car, it is very remote
What do you bring?
Bathing suits for the local lakes, straw hats, books as there is no TV or internet, good music, bikes
What can the kids bring?
The usual, toys and books. Being complete city kids, they actually are so happy to be able to roam around a garden, they don't need much
Where do you usually search for travel ideas?
Fortunately or unfortunately as the case may be, I have family and friends all over Europe, who I want to see on a regular basis so my travel plans are total based around the destinations I can visit someone in!
Any travel tips?
Pack light. I put everything I think I need to bring on holiday for the whole family on my bed. I then start editing it, until I have about 50% left, as I always over estimate what I need to bring in all the excitement.
What are must-see places in the world according to you?
When I was 8 we went to the USA and did a road trip. I still remember seeing the Grand Canyon as clear as if it was yesterday, so it must have made a major impact on me. City wise, I think that New York, Berlin and Hong Kong have stuck me as some of the most fascinating cities I have visited, all for very different reasons. Actually this question is really hard as there are so many places I have been lucky enough to visit!
