Natalie Miller is a fibre artists, maker and weaver living in the beautiful Southern Highlands an environment of constant inspiration. A registered architect and interior designer for the past 20 years, Natalie finds creating and craft very meditative and loves to explore the different techniques of textiles. She studied tapestry weaving at Sturt Art and Craft Centre, Mittagong in 2013 and ever since have been creating the most beautiful tapestry weavings and macramé pieces in her vibrant and eclectic studio. Natalie is also a mom to two big boys and a little girl and lives with her husband in a beautiful scenic countryside town of Kangaloon.
Learn from Natalie basic macramé knots and techniques to make a variety of styles, designs and patterns that will definitely challenge theold-fogyish accents of the 1970s. With these ‘knotty’ skills at your fingertips, you can explore new elaborate textile creations such as lightshades, chairs, rugs, pillow cases and the possibilities are just endless!
