Exploring Fine Art Print in Ludo Gallery
Tucked away in Waterloo Street in bustling Singapore, you’ll find a charming little gem that houses an urban print movement. Other than seeking to introduce fine art prints to a larger audience, this small establishment aspires to encourage an appreciation of fine art prints. Yes, we’re talking about Ludo Gallery!
Founded by graphic designer, art director and curator Brenda Dooley-Dwyer, under the design studio B6T9, Ludo Gallery is one out of the few in Singapore that focuses on fine art printing. Besides the incredible pieces you’ll find, we think it’s especially amazing how this super hip gallery celebrates the artworks’ artistic value rather than its commercial value, choosing to showcase the work of emerging artists and appreciating the power of exploration and process.
With fine art printing experiencing a resurgence in Asia, Ludo strives to cultivate this appreciation and encourage Singapore to be a city known for exporting rather than importing works of art. We say they’ve got it all right, don’t you think?
