Quaint Cafe in Singapore: Noshery at Nosh
Nestled in the quiet and quaint enclaves of Rochster Park, Noshery is now the Bloesem team’s new favourite weekend hangout. Surrounded by lush, green surroundings, we felt as though we had stepped out of Singapore for a short getaway, and into a tasteful blend of modern and retro setting.
It was an early discovery for us that Saturday morning, having heard how packed it could get. Luck was on our side when we strolled in — we had just the ideal spot available for us: a well-lit, cozy corner, by the window.
We were also promptly greeted by the staff, and was recommended the Crab Benedict, Buttermilk biscuits and the Nosh burger if we were after something heavier. Ironically, we decided to be a little “adventurous”, and went with the Eggs Benedict instead (ha!). It was a handsome portion, enough for two to share if you’re looking to have just a light, easy catch up with friends…because there will be coffee too!
What’s brunch without coffee right? A cup of Flat White was in order, and boy, it was a great perk-me-up! Just the right amount of body and aroma.
It only took us 10 minutes to enjoy the calm and serenity, as very quickly, groups of people started streaming in, fast occupying the dining areas with excited, heartwarming chatters filling the atmosphere.
All in all, a very pleasant dining experience — we will have to go back, be good girls, and try the recommended foods next round!
